Read new Kit Mystery....

Thanks for letting us know that you loved Kit's mystery. It being the only one I haven't read yet your post really makes me look forward to doing so. Samantha isn't really about supernatural stuff more like I would say realistic answers for things that might be consindered supernatural like many older mysterys what I liked most that was for at least Kaya and Samantha not so much for Molly was that there were continuation for the books not so much companions like the short stories are. As in something monumental happened and it takes place right after the books or should I say core books. In Samantha they mentioned the adoption of Nellie and her sisters and well as another surpise that I won't get into because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. As well as Kaya that takes place right after the books. A very monumental thing happens in those so much so that if or when the Speaking Rain doll shows up if they continue in her book from the mystery it is going to be tottaly cool. Not that a book from, pardon the words, view of a blind girl won't be fascinating as is. Samantha due to Nellie I think where her story goes is somewhat up for grabs due to the fact that they can go anywhere now. The woman who wrote her mystery was the same woman who worte Samantha's Special Talent. I wonder if one, they are going to make more books and I also wonder about Kaya there was no mystery party game for her I wonder if she wasn't in the initial idea or that they figured more older collectors would be instrested in her and not in the party games. With her in the puzzle makes it even harder to know.

I don't have any of the mystery books yet, just the History Mysteries, but all this talk about Molly, Samantha, and Kit makes me curious. I think I know what will be on my next order! The one about Samantha really intriques me. Thanks for your reviews!

...in about 4 hours! The whole book!

I practically raced to the post office to get it because the mailman won't leave packages that don't fit in the mailbox because they may(and often do) get stolen, as I live in a 12 unit apartment building. I got to the post office 10 minutes before it closed, after I was out the entire day with my mom. When the mailman gave it to me I ran out to the lobby and ripped open the package and threw away the package right in the post office-I couldn't even wait the 5 minutes it took to drive home.

I almost started reading the book in the car at the red lights, I couldn't wait! When I got home I just sat on the bed, and read and read until it was done! I loved how almost all the characters were in this story, except Ruthie, Aunt Millie and Uncle Hendrick/Inky. I wish the books had pictures(especially of the new characters) but I guess AG is trying to use the characters to target older readers, and most books for the older readers are novel style with no illustrations.

So now I have read Molly and Kit's mysteries. I got Samantha's mystery the day before Kit's, but I really wanted to read the Kit one before the Samantha one. I have still not started the Samantha one-the posts on this board about how it had to do with supernatural stuff turned me off. I'm not offended by that stuff or anything, it just doesn't really interest me that much. I'm sure I'll get around to reading it eventually.
